Guiding

Girlguiding is for all girls.  We give girls their own space, we give girls a voice and we change as the lives of girls change.  Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers meet at St Edmund’s each week during school term time. 

Rainbows is for girls aged 5 to 7.  Brownies is for girls aged 7 to 10.  Guides is for girls aged 10 to 14.  Rangers is for girls and young women aged 14 to 26.  All the groups have adult leaders and young leaders aged 14+ and always welcome extra volunteers.  Meetings take place as follows in the Scout and Guide headquarters building:

Mondays
7^th Roundhay Rainbows – 4.30pm to 5.30pm
7^th Roundhay Brownies – 6pm to 7.30pm

Wednesdays
1^st Roundhay Brownies – 5.45pm to 7pm
7^th Roundhay Guides – 7.10pm to 8.45pm
Roundhay District Rangers – 8pm to 9.30pm

Fridays
Rainbows - 6pm to 7pm
1^st Roundhay Guides – 7.30pm to 9pm

Members of all groups have the opportunity to attend the church parades at St Edmund’s as well as other trips including camps and holidays for Brownies and older.  Our members do not have to be church goers as we welcome members from any religion or none.
