St Edmund’s Church can be hired for music concerts, meetings, day conferences. The nave seats over 300 and the side chapel and chancel both contain about 30 seats.
By prior agreement both the organ and Yamaha grand piano can be used. Refreshments can be served at the back of the church.
The seats in the nave can be moved and by arrangement can be adjusted to particular needs. The building has disabled access from North Park Avenue on the northern side. The chancel and side chapel have disabled access using powered lifts. The audio-visual facilities include a sound system and large screen. There is a loop system for those who need help with hearing in the main church and an independent one in the side chapel.
There is space for about 20 cars in the church car park and there is ample street parking on North Park Avenue and Lidgett Park Road. There are three toilets including one fully accessible facility in the church building. There is also a servery facility with an electric hob, oven and a small fridge for serving refreshments.
