St Edmunds Hall hosts a myriad of activities through the week. We hold many external classes such as fitness (Pilates, martial arts, yoga, circuits, aerobics, football etc), photography, dance and many toddler groups.
To hire the Hall for a function or one-off event, please:
- Firstly check the calendar for availability. This will give you an idea of what might be free.
- Then please fill in our booking enquiry form and we will come back to you to confirm (we may have an enquiry already pencilled in which might not be visible)

About our Venue
Our extensive facilities are available to hire for functions and events for up to 186 people, subject to availability. St Edmund’s Hall has two large halls with interconnecting doors and a sizeable meeting room. We have ample on-site free parking, toilets (including accessible and baby change), and tables and chairs for hirer use.
The Small Hall
This room is perfect for childrens’ parties and family celebrations of up to 80 people. It is light and airy with a wooden floor and hatch through to our fully equipped kitchen.
The Large Hall
A former church, this spacious room has high ceilings and a fixed stage, making it ideal for larger parties of up to 90 people, or up to 150 people seated for a conference or performance. It has a wooden “sprung” floor - making it ideal for ceilidhs, dance and fitness classes.
Both Halls can be hired together, accommodating up to 186 people; a popular choice for larger parties, fundraising events and wedding receptions.
